Catherine Brown has achieved significant success in an ‘Article 8’ High Court extradition appeal.  Her client was subject to an order for extradition to Latvia, for prosecution of historical fraud offences. On appeal, the High Court acceded to Catherine’s argument that  extradition would cause a disproportionate interference with her client’s family life in the UK, in violation of Article 8 of the European Convention on Human Rights.
