Luis Nobre jailed for 14 years following 5 month trial at Southwark Crown Court

After a 5 month trial leading for the Crown, David Durose secured convictions on nine counts again Luis Nobre, a flamboyant fraudster charged with offences relating to the laundering of £100 million defrauded from a Dutch shipping company. Nobre was sentenced to 14 years for money laundering and fraud offences. A co-defendant solicitor, Kadurugamuwa, was also convicted of money laundering and will be sentenced at a later date.
