Joanna joined Chambers as a third six pupil following the successful completion of pupillage with the Crown Prosecution Service. During pupillage, she prosecuted trials in the Magistrates’ Courts and conducted a wide range of hearings in the Crown Court.
Prior to pupillage, Joanna worked as an employment law advocate, representing employers accused of wrongdoing in hundreds of hearings nationwide.
Joanna is a Lincoln’s Inn Scholar and previously spent three months at the European Court of Human Rights. She also served as a Director of Gray’s Inn’s Vocalise programme, teaching debating skills to prisoners.
