Joel has a busy defence practice in the Crown, Magistrates’ and Youth Courts and receives instructions for a wide range of offences including violence, dishonesty, sex offences, drugs, driving offences and breach of court orders.
Instructing solicitors have described Joel as having a ‘tenacious approach’ which has made him a ‘client favourite’.
Before coming to the bar, Joel was a paralegal for a leading criminal defence firm. Whilst here he worked on a range of matters including general crime, white collar crime and extradition.
