Raphael Hardy

Call: 2024

Actions

Raphael has recently joined chambers upon completion of his pupillage. He has developed a busy general crime practice, regularly appearing in the Magistrates’ Court, Youth Court and Crown Court in matters involving allegations of serious violence, drug supply and weapons possession.

Often chosen for his ability to deal with vulnerable clients due to his sensitive and professional manner, Raphael is able to inspire confidence far beyond his call.

Raphael has received the following references from solicitors who regularly instruct him:

“Meticulous and hardworking. He leaves no stone unturned in achieving the best possible result for the defendant.”

“He has great empathy with clients, knowledge of the law and has achieved excellent outcomes for every client he has represented for us.”

“His advocacy is persuasive, incisive, and well-judged – commanding the respect of judges and opponents alike.”

“He has established himself as my first choice to instruct for sensitive youth cases.”

Alongside his busy defence practice, Raphael is a member of the CPS External Advocates Panel at Grade 1. He also accepts prosecution instructions on behalf of local authorities, probation and other prosecuting authorities.
