David Durose and Oliver Doherty secure convictions in multi-million pound conspiracy to defraud
David Durose and Oliver Doherty prosecuted Operation Rosewood, a complex and intricate multi-million pound conspiracy involving fraudulent applications for mobile phone contracts made using personal details obtained dishonestly from students. SIM cards were exploited for spam text marketing and thousands of Apple iPhones were sold abroad. Six defendants entered guilty pleas and the remaining two were convicted following a trial. The defendants were sentenced on 27th October to sentences of up to six years imprisonment. Click here for press report.
