Defendant acquitted of attempted rape and 5 other offences at Inner London Crown Court

A jury at Inner London found Marie de Redman‘s client not guilty of all charges before them after an 8 day trial.   It was alleged that the defendant had met a young woman at Ministry of Sound nightclub and offered her class A drugs.  The prosecution alleged that she was drunk and vulnerable. He was then alleged to have taken her to his home and attempted to rape her.  Further charges included sexual assault and attempted assault by penetration.  After less than 4 hours the Jury unanimously acquitted him.  Ms de Redman was instructed by Danyaal Farooq at Maurice Andrews solicitors.
