Estelle Thornber secures unanimous not guilty verdicts in s.18 grievous bodily harm matter

The trial took place at Southwark Crown Court and the defence was one of mistaken identity. Estelle’s client was also acquitted of the lesser alternative charge (s.20 grievous bodily harm). The Court backlog meant that Estelle’s client waited over 4 years since the date of the incident in question to have an effective trial. He was, and remains, a man of good character.
