Estelle Thornber’s client unanimously acquitted in threats to kill and child cruelty case

The 12-day trial took place at Inner London Crown Court. Estelle’s client was a television news correspondent and he faced allegations spanning over a 3-year period. Estelle made a successful submission of no case to answer in respect of the child cruelty charge at the conclusion of the prosecution case. Thereafter, her client was unanimously acquitted by a jury of threats to kill and controlling and coercive behaviour charges.
