Following a 5-day trial at Snaresbrook Crown Court, Kane Sharpe’s client was acquitted by jury of involvement in the supply of import purity cocaine and possession of £20,000 of criminal property.

Kane’s client was stopped by police in a car containing the drugs and money. Another party, also in the car, had previously pleaded guilty. The defendant’s fingerprints were found on the bag in which the drugs were wrapped, and he was in possession of a ‘burner-style’ phone linked to supplying crack cocaine and heroin. The issue in the trial was denial of knowing participation in supply of the drugs.
