Giles Cockings KC secures acquittal in Enfield stabbing

From November 2024 until January 2025 Giles Cockings KC (leading Kane Sharpe) achieved an acquittal in a multi-handed, ‘cut-throat’ murder. The novel aspects of law litigated including the use of S114(1)(d) to adduce parts of recorded prison calls from one defendant against another, involving substantial CCTV and extensive forensic evidence.
