Kane Sharpe and Katie Jones’ clients acquitted of violent disorder
Kane and Katie‘s clients faced a count of violent disorder arising from what the prosecution called a “botched ambush”. The disorder, all of which was captured by CCTV, included the ramming of multiple vehicles, a stabbing and a participant being shot in the back with a crossbow. Self defence was raised. After a four day trial both clients were unanimously acquitted. All others charged were convicted. Kane was instructed by Rob Johnson of SVS and Katie by Ghazala Akram of Ahmed & Co solicitors.
