Man walking past railings

Kane Sharpe secures acquittal after trial in an extraordinary case of trespass with intent to commit a sexual offence.

The 74-year-old complainant alleged the 25-year-old defendant – her neighbour – entered her house, exposed his penis and made repeated sexual advances, before sexually assaulting her. The defence maintained the allegation was fabricated maliciously.

Following a 4-day trial at Snaresbrook Crown Court, Kane’s client was acquitted unanimously by the jury.

Instructed and assisted by Kiran Johal of Stuart Miller Solicitors.
