Man walking past railings

Kane Sharpe’s client acquitted of attempted murder and GBH with intent at Southwark Crown Court.

Kane‘s client accelerated his car directly at the victim who suffered serious injuries. Witnesses at the scene were left shocked and the defendant fled the scene before police arrived. The defendant stated he fell asleep with the automatic vehicle in ‘Drive’ and his foot must have slipped onto the accelerator, disengaging the automatic parking brake. The case involved expert evidence in the field of vehicle systems forensics.
