The case involved a bag found out at the defendant’s home with two firearms stored with compatible ammunition. The case required a forensic analysis of expert evidence – both in respect of the defendant’s DNA which was found on the firearm and drugs. The case was further complicated by complex issues of character evidence and a cut throat against the co- defendant, jointly charged.
