Lily Roberts-Phelps secures unanimous acquittal at Maidstone Crown Court for one count of assault occasioning actual bodily harm.

The allegation was that while in a relationship the Defendant assaulted the complainant by strangling her, ripping her clothes and hitting her around the face causing bruising. The complainant evidenced the bruise with a photograph. The Defendant had also apologised for hitting her around the face in a subsequent voicemail.
