Nicola Shannon KC attends IBA Conference 2024 in Mexico City as part of Bar Council delegation

Nicola Shannon KC is attending the International Bar Association Conference 2024 in Mexico City this week as part of a delegation from The Bar Council of England and Wales showcasing the specialist advocacy skills of the English and Welsh Bar.

Nicola was invited to lead a workshop demonstrating cross-examination in the context of arbitration of a business dispute, along with Michael Polak and Gavin Dingley FCIArb.

The day conference, a training event for Mexican lawyers, was organised in collaboration with three Mexican Bar Associations and leading law firm Von Wobeser y Sierra.

Nicola will be in Mexico City attending the Conference all week and looks forward to catching up with old friends from around the world and making new connections in the field of organised crime, fraud and sports law.
