Nicola Shannon & Margia Mostafa secure conviction of the ‘Camden Doorstep Rapist’
Nicola Shannon, leading Margia Mostafa, secured convictions against the ‘Camden Doorstep Rapist’ after a 6 week trial at Wood Green Crown Court. The case involved multiple knifepoint and weapon-enabled rapes against lone, young women walking home at night in the Camden Town area. When sentencing, the trial Judge described the Defendant, who rapped on Instagram under the name ‘Raver Artist’, as “a woman’s worst nightmare”. He received a sentence of life imprisonment. Nicola and Margia were instructed by the CPS London North RASSO team.
