Philippa McAtasney KC – client found not guilty unanimously by the jury following a trial at Hove Crown Court. 

The defendant faced six allegations of historical sexual abuse including rape of a child under 13.  The complainant (now an adult) had a registered intermediary and cross examination was recorded under section 28 of the YJCEA before the trial.  Pippa was instructed privately by Bishop and Light solicitors leading Kevin Light.
