Sadaf Etemadi’s client acquitted of a s.20 GBH at Woolwich Crown Court

Sadaf Etemadi represented a former prisoner officer accused of assaulting an inmate. The issue was one of fabrication motivated by the Complainant’s desire to move prison wings. The Complainants history of dishonesty and manipulative behaviour was adduced to undermine his credibility. The Crown relied on CCTV and expert evidence to suggest her client could have been the only person to have committed the assault.
