Sadaf Etemadi’s client acquitted of drug conspiracy offences.
Sadaf’s client stood trial in respect of a conspiracy to import cannabis, conspiracy to supply cannabis and separate to the wider conspiracies, possession with intent to supply 1kg of cannabis. The issue was of lack of knowledge. At the close of the Crown’s case, after a skeleton argument was served as to there being no case to answer, the Crown did not proceed with the conspiracy counts. The jury acquitted her client of the remaining counts. Sadaf was instructed and assisted by Fatima Croques of Newgate Solicitors.
