Tochi Ejimofo represented a youth in a multi-handed case concerning an allegation of s.18 grievous bodily harm. The Crown relied upon identification evidence from the complainant. The youth asserted alibi.

After securing disclosure from the defendant’s phone and serving a detailed letter of representation challenging the reliability of the Crown’s evidence, the Crown determined there was no longer a realistic prospect of conviction and discontinued the matter.
