Defendant acquitted after three week trial

A jury at Southwark Crown Court acquitted J following a three week trial. The Prosecution alleged that he had assisted a gunman’s escape from the country by obtaining false identity documents, booking flights and transporting him to the airport whilst Police hunted the suspect.
