Lucy McGarr successfully prosecutes fashion designer who sexually assaulted and attempted to rape an aspiring model

Lucy successfully prosecuted a fashion designer who sexually assaulted and attempted to rape an aspiring model 11 years his junior. Exploiting her ambition to start a modelling career, he lured her to his home twice under the guise of photoshoots for his brand, where he sexually assaulted her and, on the second occasion, attempted to rape her.

Following a four-day trial at Inner London Crown Court – during which the defendant denied all allegations  – the jury unanimously convicted him on all five counts after less than an hour of deliberations.
