Ryan Evans secures acquittal for the second defendant, in a Trial at Snaresbrook Crown Court.
British rapper and singer Lady Leshurr, real name Melesha O’Garro, and Sherelle Smith were charged with assault occasioning actual bodily harm on Miss O’Garro’s ex-partner and her new girlfriend. The defence case was that Miss Smith had acted in self-defence. After a two-week trial the jury returned verdicts of not guilty in relation to all counts on the indictment.
