Shannon Revel successfully applies to dismiss a charge of purchasing a prohibited firearm contrary to section 5(1) Firearms Act 1968. The defendant was charged with purchasing a Girsan MC28 self loading handgun on the basis of messaging evidence that had been misinterpreted and over stated by the police. The count on the indictment relating to the charge was quashed today at Croydon Crown Court. Shannon was instructed and assisted by Sophie Slaney of Stuart Miller solicitors.
