Shannon Revel’s client found not guilty of importing 4.5kg heroin

Shannon Revel’s client has been found not guilty of importing 4.5kg heroin that was concealed in a car at the UK border control in Coquelles, France. The defendant, a young woman, was the passenger in a vehicle driven by her sister and had been on a trip away for her birthday. She had no knowledge that controlled drugs had been hidden in the vehicle. She was found not guilty by the jury at Canterbury Crown Court. Shannon was instructed by Phil Aluwoade of Law24 Solicitors.
