Shannon Revel’s client not guilty of Class A drug trafficking offences following successful representations to the Crown

The defendant from London was aged 16 when he was stopped in company with a 34 year old man who was selling class A drugs in Ipswich. He has no previous convictions and had no contact with the police after his arrest 4 years ago. The case was subject to delayed charging and a modern slavery defence was advanced. He was due to stand trial in February 2026. After detailed representations from Shannon and Sarah, the crown reviewed the case and sensibly offered no evidence at court today. The defendant retains his good character. He is now aged 20 and in gainful employment
Shannon was instructed by Sarah King of Kingsbury Ellis solicitors.
